Yesterday, I went to the market to buy a new phone. I read couple of handset reviews and decided to go either for Nokia E71 or E63. I also had a look at LG KP500 Cookie and I loved the style. Anyways, instead of Nokia E71 or E63, I bought LG KP500 Cookie.
LG KP500 Cookie is a stylish Touch screen phone and very slim and delicate. Although there are number of features missing in KP500 Cookie but with a price tag of Rs. 15,000/- I would happily bear all the missings. Let me just start the review with what LG KP500 Cookie has and what it doesn’t.
What’s Good?
- 240 x 400 pixels, 3″ Touchscreen
- Slim and Stylish
- Excellent Graphics
- Good Audio Sound
- Document Reader
- 3GP and MPEG-4 Player
- Bluetooth, Edge/GPRS
- Can install J2ME Applications( *.Jar/*.Jad software)
- Responsive Touchscreen
- Full QWERTY Keyboard
What’s not Good?
- Camera has no flash. So, if you want to take a picture in night, better keep a 200 watt battery with you.
- You can not cancel one single application from Multiple Task Menu. YOu have to close all the programs even if only one of them is causing problem.
- You can not install new themes as it is not theme compatible.
Some other mobile companies touchscreen handsets are also out in market with latest Samsung S5230 Star. But I preferred LG KP500 Cookie over it because of the bad voice quality and battery. Overall LG KP500 Cookie is a best touchscreen mobile in that price range and is great for those who always wanted to use a touchscreen hansdet but couldn’t afford one. If you have any question regarding LG KP500 Cookie, do not hesitate to ask.
