With the increased global warming and climatic changes all over the globe, the eco-biologists and the various scientists are working in tandem to get the highest advantage from the natural renewable resources like sunlight, rainwater, wind, geothermal heat, tides etc. To get totally independent of the traditional energy sources like oil, gas, etc is still a distant dream but getting rid of the undesired consequences being faced by these sources is pushing this field of science forward.

Since most of the renewable energy technologies are powered by sun, but getting solar energy is not always accessible, therefore the need to store that saved solar or wind energy, etc is becoming so crucial with increasing time. One of the leading consumer electronic goods companies Panasonic together with Sanyo is coming up with fixed full-fledged plans to tackle this problem.
They are merging together in this to create and supply the lithium-ion cell battery with storage capacity that allows supply with power for whole building for a week long time, in the next two years. With this outlined plan, the battery will have mechanism to check how much electricity is being used by transferring the corresponding data on their screens.
Though many are in qualms about such possible happening until 2012, but this noble mission by Panasonic and Sanyo can be a sign of relief in the current scenario where the world is already gripped with global warming ill effects.
