Facebook is undergoing power cut off in Palo Alto. A small plane crash earlier today seems to be the reason for the power cut-off.
According to the KTVU “a twin-engine Cessna plane crashed abruptly after take-off from the airport hitting the transmission lines 377 feet above the ground. All three passengers were killed in the crash. The plane crashed into a South Palo surrounding. No injuries were reported on ground. Accident took place at 7:50 a.m. and is credited to fog”.

It is not confirmed whether crash is the reason for power shortage but Facebook’s home office at Palo Alto is facing power shortage at the moment. This power cut-off, however, didn’t affect Facebook website and it is working properly as of now.
Even though few users reported problems with Facebook.
