PTCL WiFi Router Charges Appear on Bill But They Haven’t Delivered It Yet

PTCL is advertising newly introduced WiFi routers. I also requested for PTCL WiFi router the very next day it was launched. But I am yet to receive it even after 20 days. You can read details here: PTCL WiFi Router Not Deployed Yet!

Angry CustomerToday, I receive PTCL Bill with WiFi router charges on it. Before calling PTCL Help Line, I contacted my relevant exchange and asked them regarding the matter. The guy told me that WiFi routers are now in stock and you can pick it from PTCL office. Why me? They were supposed to deliver it at doorstep. I asked them about the Bill and he said, that you didn’t contact. That’s not true. I contacted at least three times. Even if I didn’t, they were supposed to contact me.

I then called Help line and told her the whole story. She said that she is forwarding my complaint manually to concerned department and suggested me to visit their Islamabad Head Office to adjust the bill (why the heck should I go? What’s my fault?). According to her, WiFi router will be delivered within next 48 hours. Lets see…..

    I believe you wont get this sorted out unless you visit their head office. PTCL billing system is what I’d say “CRAP” but what can we do?

    Government really should allow other Land Line companies to start a new competition. That might change PTCL.

    Yes! It clearly suggests that how crap is PTCL Billing Dept. as they are totally unaware of service usage consumed or not!

    Dear Sir,

    I have registered more than 20 complaints, at least 10 online, but no one including D of PTCL bothers for that. i am complaining to the followings from 29-july 2010, but all are sleeping!!!
    Even i have made many calls to Mr. sajjad n every where I can call from my personal cell but they either make it busy or don’t attend or even made gossips with each other and ignore complaints.

    I CAN PROVIDE THE EVEDENCE FOR THAT!
    THESE ARE THE PEOPLE, WHICH ARE DECLINGIN THE REPUTE OF THE PTCL, AND FORCE PEOPLE TO JOIN Broadband SERVICES.

    PTCL customer service is not good, it sucks due to the same people who were working before for government, now its ethesalat project, so they should change the customer service employees. Because this old employees dont do their work perfectly.
