The Dalai Lama on Twitter

Twitter is attracting more and more celebrities. Earlier Bill Gates joined twitter and we saw tweets from “Lil Wayne” the rapper. Now “Dalai Lama” joined Twitter and showed he can use twitter too.

Last year some fake DalaiLama twitter user name came up which was the reason why twitter came up with “Verified account”. All famous personalities were allowed to show a verified button on their twitter home page. Purpose of this verification was to avoid any fake accounts fooling people.

  1. I read somewhere that its a fake Dalai Lama twitter account. But why would someone do that to promote Dalai Lama website… ^o)

  2. Tasadduq says:

This isn’t the fake Dalai Lama account because it has “Twitter Verified” seal on it, which proves this is real dalami lama’s account. And it is posting links from official website of lamas.
