Now, Zong customers who have access to the internet can enjoy another enlivening portal by Zong.
One can say that it is somewhat like Telenor’s Web Self Service however it comes with even more exciting features and options than the Telenor’s Web Self Service.
The new portal is called ‘Zong’s E-Care’ web portal and previously this portal was only available of customers with postpaid connection but now customers with prepaid option can enjoy and even manage their various setting related to their number.
Let’s see how we can register to this service?
One would need his / her CNIC and their Zong number for registration. The name you have used against your Zong connection will be used by Zong as soon as you are logged in.
A vast verity of options and tweaks are available to you when you are logged in, you can make use of these features to tweak your number as per your requirements. This portal allows you to take control of your number in an interesting and fun way.
The customers with postpaid have the privilege to access their monthly billing details but of-course this option is not for prepaid customers, on the other hand prepaid customers can have all the details of recharging with account recharge history.
A piece of advice! As this portal uses popups for notification so you have to allow your browser to show popups.
Select payment history option than choose a month and than click submit to check the details about your monthly payments, the Zong E-Care service will use popup to show your account recharge history.
There are some other features which includes, Details of account, with this option you can see all your SMS records, call records, etc with absolute details.
One thing is for sure that I haven’t seen Telenor or even Warid providing their postpaid customers with so mush details regarding their account history through their online web portals.
Having said that, I feel one strange thing with the Zong E-Care portal that for its prepaid customers only 15 days account history is displayed and here it also uses popups.
The amazing thing about Zong E-Care is that it allows you to check your remaining Free SMS, GPRS package details or even Free Minutes with next package deduction details or expiry dates and it’s all Free!
Zong E-Care also allows you to use Card Recharge option by which you can recharge your account by entering your number and the pin number on the scratch card and it’s done. You can also use this facility to recharge your family’s or friend’s account. Wow

Note: Normal VAS charges will apply for using these features as per Zong Policy.
One would agree, that Zong E-Care portal is better than Warid or Telenor’s web-portals in terms of features, but it lacks in design and user experience.
