Anjum Rahman Joins Telenor as Director Communication & CR

After the resignation of Hasnat Masood in October, 2009 from the post of Director Corporate Communication and Responsibility, its been quite a long period that Telenor Pakistan was looking for someone to fill this place. At last, they have filled their long vacant slot for the Director Corporate Communication and Responsibility.

Reports are confirmed that the Anjum Rahaman of Express 24/7 is going to take the charge as Director Corporate Communication and Responsibility at Telenor Pakistan.

Anjum RahmanAnjum Rahman will be expecting to take charge today, i.e. November 1, 2010 at the company’s headquarters in Islamabad.

Anjum Rahman is quite a renowned personality as she has already served Express 24/7 as Senior Producer/Special Correspondent. There she hosted TV news and current affair talk show ‘The Other Line’. For a small period of time, she has also contributed to The Express Tribune.

Before she became the part of Express group, she worked as Senior Media and Advocacy officer at the Canadian high Commission from 2004-2008 in Islamabad.

Aamir Ibrahim, Chief Strategy Officer and VP Corporate Affairs Telenor Pakistan confirmed the appointment through email. He stated:

“We are looking forward to work with her on developing and strengthening stronger relations with media and broadening the scope of the company’s corporate initiatives. Telenor Pakistan Welcomes Anjum Rahman onboard.”
