In a clever marketing move, Pakistan’s largest telecommunication company, PTCL is sponsoring a drag race which will be held on December 5 in Bahria Town Phase 8 for racing enthusiasts all over th ecountry. PTCL is sponsoring the event to promote its similarly named Evo Nitro 3G and draw on drag racers using ‘nitro boosts’ to make their cars go faster.
PTCL is collaborating with High Performance Racing (HPR) for the event. In the Evo Nitro speed quest drag race, legal car racing event participants will have a chance to race head-to-head in a secure and professional environment with the facilities of an ambulance and a fire brigade available in case of emergencies. The event has been segregated into different categories depending upon car specifications. The purpose of the segregation is to give every participant a fair change and give the winner a sense of accomplishment.
