Adobe Creative Suite Upgraded to Version 5.5

Adobe has upgraded its Creative Suite package to version 5.5 that is based on the applications like Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator or Flash builder. There is big news as well that Adobe through its software aiming to target digital publishing for tablet with new Flash and HTML5 support. You cannot only purchase this software but also can get on rent through subscription.

Adobe stated in an occasion that it is going to bring some modifications in its Creative Suite release plan according to which major releases will now schedule for every two years along with mid-cycle releases in between them. Apparently, it seems that this update is an inclusive update and it won’t be wrong to call it as CS6. However, it is truly a 5.5 in its core that come with some principal upgrades.

Primarily, all the major updates aiming at digital publishing for the whole range of major mobile platforms such as Android, Blackberry, WebOS, and of course iOs. Certainly, the attention is given on Flash apps, however, the InDesign 5.5 will support HTML5 content so as to enable web and layout designers to give momentum to a publishing opportunity other than Flash enabled devices. Adobe makes another advance move by offering Photoshop Touch SDK for tablets that allows the developers to create table apps that communicate with Photoshop.

According to Adobe, this new updated version for Creative Suite will be available for purchase within a month. As far as pricing plan is concerned it is really reasonable for you can purchase flagship product Master Collection including CS5.5 apps for $2600. The Design Premium edition will be available for $1900; the Web Premium edition will cost $1800; the Production Premium edition will come with a price tag of $1700; and the Design Standard edition will be sold at $1300.

If you don’t want to purchase the software, you have the option to rent it and that too on monthly basis. You can have the Master Collection for $129 per month; the Design Premium edition will be available at $95 per month; and you can rent the Photoshop for $35 per month. However, it is important to note that if you keep on renting the software on monthly basis it will cost you far more than its actual price. For instance, getting Master Collection will cost you $3096 over the 2-year period than its advanced price of $2600.
