According to Deutsche Bank’s Chris Whitmore, Apple will be releasing both iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, Fortune reports. We all know that there have been a lot of talks about whether Apple will release a minor update version of iPhone 4 or completely new version.
Whitmore wrote on his website that his client should expect both:
“With Nokia and RIMM struggling,” he writes, “the time is right for Apple to aggressively penetrate the mid range smart-phone market (i.e. $300-500 category) to dramatically expand its [total addressable market] and market share.”
Whitmore sees an iPhone 4S that is unlocked, priced at $349, last but not the, a prepaid voice plan and it would capture 1.5 billion potential customer sin 98 countries around the globe.
We previously reported that Apple might be launching a lower cost version of iPhone for Asian countries where its demand is very high, but there are not authentic evidences.
