Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Richer Than Google Founders

The Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg currently has a personal net fortune of $17.5 billion getting step ahead of Google duo Larry Page and Sergey Brin. These are the statistics of 2011 Forbes list of ‘Richest People in America’.

In 2010 rankings, Zuckerberg was on 35th place and within a year jumped up to 14th place. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos leading him with a personal worth of $19.1 billion on the Forbes list. Google Duo has a net worth of $16.7 billion just a position below the Zuckerberg at 15. The duo was at number 24 in the last year ranking. The co-founder of Facebook, Dustin Moskovitz is at number 91 with personal worth of $3.5 billion, while the former president of Facebook, Sean Parker is at number 200 with his personal worth of $2.1 billion.

However, not a single tech celebrity could be able to make entry into top 10. As usual Bill Gates is on the top followed by Warren Buffett at number 2. The Oracle CEO Larry Ellison is at number 3.

Details of some other tech luminaries is as follows: Michael Dell at 18, Steve Ballmer at 19, Paul Allen at 23, Steve Jobs at 39, eBay founder Pierre Omidyar at 50, Eric Schmidt at 51, George Lucas at 107 and Mark Cuban holds 171 position on the list.

Some of you may be surprised to see the Steve Jobs’ position on the list considering the status of Apple in global market. It is the most valuable company at this time and was supposed to the ‘CEO of the Decade’ by Fortune. The reason for Steve Jobs’ low ranking on the list is because his capital is in the form of preferentially owned stock. He has almost 15 million shares in Apple, while the 138 million shares in Disney which according to CNNMoney he got after Disney acquisition of Pixar.
