Sprint Announces Super Bright LG Marquee

He who thinks that fashion and technology are two separate phenomena, Sprint proves them wrong by combining both these features in single set. Yes, we are talking about Sprint’s super bright LG Marquee.

It is a thin, sleek and superlight handset which is going to make debut in October. This Smartphone is running on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread. As for hardware, the Smartphone has a 1GHz processor, 4-inch Nova display, and 5-megapixel autofocus camera at the back and 2-megapixel front camera, 512 MB of RAM and 2GB ROM. Other than that it also features a microSDHC memory card slot.

Connectivity support for LG Marquee includes Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, and GPS.

On the software side, the LG Marquee offers and integrated virtual QWERTY keyboard with Swype to improve its functionality. You will also be able to add additional Sprint apps and services by paying for them. The LG Marquee also has a support for Sprint ID. Almost all the Android-based handsets from Sprint show support for Sprint ID. This feature allows the users to modify or customize the available five home screens in correspondence with ringers, widgets, apps, wallpapers and much more.

The LG Marquee supports all the mobile Google services such as Google Talk, Gmail etc. You will also be able to set up your own email accounts to keep a check of your important emails while on the move.

As the Smartphone is going to launch in October, the presale orders will open from September 20 and remain open for about one week. Those who want to benefit by placing a presale order will start getting their LG Marquee by the end of this month before the official launch.
