Apple Revamped its iPod Nano

Prior to the media event of Apple, it was rumored that iPod classic and iPod shuffle will be discontinued from the range of Apple’s iPod, but no such announcement made in that mega event. However, the iPod nano from the entire range of iPod family receives some updates. iPod Touch will also receive a new iOS 5.

The revised iPod nano now features bigger icons with improved usability. Apple has introduced a new intuitive Multi-Touch user interface to accomplish this task. Apart from bigger icons, Apple has also introduced 16 different digital clock faces as well giving user an option to choose from a wide range of choices ranging from classic analogs to the Disney characters, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Many people use iPod nano to keep track of their runs and walks. All those people must be pleased to know that with the upgraded iPod nano you can now keep the track of all your runs, walks and time without plugging in any additional accessories. Your new device will have all the features as built-in. The device also features a motivational real-time voice feedback in seven different languages.

Taking iPod Touch into consideration, it will not run the latest iOS 5 version on it. This new version of iOS will come with over 200 features including iMessage, Game Center, Notifications and Wi-Fi Syncing to iTunes. The iMessage feature will allow you to send text messages, photos, videos and contact information to other person or persons only if they have their devices running on iOS 5 as well such as iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

The most important thing that you all must be concerned of is the price of the device. The starting price for the new iPod nano starts from $129 for 8GB device. By spending $20 more will give you double storage. The price of iPod Touch will start from $199.
