Samsung has announced earlier that its next new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Nexus will come equipped with Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 4.0 (codenamed: Ice Cream Sandwich). The handset is now available for pre-orders in the United States through Expansys.

Samsung is not at all gentle with its pricing plan as the 16GB version is offered contract-free for whopping $749. After placing an order, you will expect to have your new Galaxy Nexus handset in your hands within four working days. Those who are a big fan of Samsung and Google, this smartphone is just a must have for them. According to reports, this particular version of Nexus makes use of HSPA+ and support both AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
You can have the smartphone with a two-year contract as well. But for that you need to wait for a while as Verizon is going to have this device for you at a cheaper price and contract plan later this year.
To remind you once again about the specs and features of the Galaxy Nexus, it boasts off 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel 1080p capable rear-camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera for video chat and a 4.65-inch super AMOLED display.
