Windows 8 to Come with More Customization Options

For all those who are thinking of using Windows 8 on a regular basis in future, this news would bring some joy for them. We have got our hands on a leaked screenshot that reveals that the new-touch focused ‘Start Screen’ will now revised and offer both color and background image customization.

Those using Windows 8 developer preview will certainly breathe some fresh air after hearing the news because the green background on the Windows 8 developer preview is often very annoying for the users’ eyes. Microsoft introduced the Windows 8 at the Build Conference and the most worrisome feature of the new OS for many people was:

Yes! Green, green and more green everywhere. Once the developer preview rolled out, users found no option to customize the background color of the ‘Start Screen’ on Windows 8. However, users did have the option to customize Lock Screen and User Tile features. What the users couldn’t change was the green often annoying background.

However, it is told that this is a temporary issue and will be resolved soon. The good news is that you can now able to use images as backgrounds but no solid colors will be allowed to use as backgrounds. However, the green will somehow be removed. Have a look at the screenshot:

We are sorry for that annoying watermark. The good thing is you will be offered extensive customization in the upcoming Windows 8. However, we are still wondering about the fact that why such sort of customization didn’t offered in the developer preview.
