The report is based on information collected through several different sources, all claiming that the event is scheduled for later this month. However, the plans could possibly subject to change. The only authentic information we have got is that the event is not at all held to announce any product, including Apple TV or a next-generation iPad device – iPad 3.

The forthcoming Apple event will most probably related to publishing or advertising, said the Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services of Apple Eddy Cue in one of his statement.

According to Kara Swisher, Eddy Cue was last seen in New York at the Apple’s launching event of News Corp.’s The Daily – a magazine offered online and on tablet devices only.

All Things D reports, “Cue is in charge of a large swath of Apple’s media units, including the iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, as well as iAd and its iCloud services.” His presence in the event itself hints toward the importance of the event.

At the time when a lot of rumors are surfacing regarding the Apple’s new voice-controlled television product, one can easily take it for granted that the upcoming event may have something related to it, however, Swisher’s sources denied any such possibility.

Whether or not, this event is related to the Apple’s voice-controlled television product, there are strong evidences hinting towards the Cupertino firm’s intentions to make an entry into the market.

We are trying to get more information about the event and its happenings. We will come back to you with more updates as soon as we receive them. So, stay tuned.
