Previously, the iPad had camera functionality and a photo library, but with iPhoto, the company has brought a new level of creative image editing and organizing options that Mac owners have already got used to.

The popular iWork apps, including Pages, Numbers and Keynote received an update which is available in the App Store for $9.99 each. However, Garageband is available for $4.99 in the App Store. The updated versions are free for those who already own the apps. iPhoto for iOS is available for both iPad and iPhone and is available for download for $4.99.

Pages app enables users to design flyers and other text-and-image based documents. Numbers app offers users to create data visualizations, while Keynote app is somewhat identical to the presentation slideshow manager PowerPoint.

Garageband is popular among casual musicians who use it for its seamless and easy functions. This makes recording, editing and mixing capabilities easier and smooth for musicians. Now the updated version will offer users to mingle with one another using the program on separate devices. The Cupertino-based tech giant also launched new iCloud features for Garageband.

Since Apple’s mobile devices opened up the marketplace, the apps developed by the company as well as by third-parties have become a major hit. In one of its recent announcement, Apple announced that customers have collectively downloaded a massive 25 million apps from the App Store. This means that every single person in the world owns three apps each.
