Telenor Karo Mumkin – Where Do You See Pakistan in Future?
Telenor Pakistan has just launched their “Karo Mumkin – Pakistan in future” campaign. The campaign inspires everyone to realize possibilities by sharing ideas about future Pakistan. The whole concept revolves around hope, inspiration and believing in the realization of possibilities.
Telenor Pakistan has been a pioneer in innovation and a few months back, realized an incredible possibility with the launch of easypaisa services. The idea was to bring the bank to the customer – a possibility that became a reality through easypaisa.
Looking beyond, we must also remember our own heroes – Sarmad Tariq, Pakistan’s first physically challenged wheelchair racer who competed in the New York Marathon, demonstrating remarkable strength of character and setting an example for us to follow. Let us also remember Nabeel, Pakistan’s first student scoring 26As in the A-level exams and setting the world record for this extraordinary achievement. There are many more that believed in their [...]
Watch easypaisa Mobile Account TVC & Win an iPOD – Another Stupid Competition
Increasing viewership and attracting other networks’ customers right Telenor? Well… Even if they don’t reply we all know the purpose of such competitions. Though they claim to give incentive to the participants of the survey but come on… gimme a break, they don’t care about you. All these companies care about is one thing: MONEY.
Anyways…I am not supposed to write like that right? I just had my opinion, you can agree or disagree. They are giving free iPods through lucky draw to winners who give answers to the “stupidest” questions asked on their website about easypaisa latest product “easypaisa Mobile Account“. Customer of any network can participate in the competition (dang! I was right…attracting other networks’ customers ). I didn’t say that… Did you read that? No right?
People who want to “participate” in the survey can go to this link: http://www.easypaisa.com.pk/competition.php

YouTube Enhances Automatic Caption Capability
WASHINGTON: YouTube, in a significant development for deaf Web users, extended automatic caption capability to all English-language videos on the video-sharing website on Thursday.
YouTube users have been able to manually add captions to videos since 2008 and in November of last year the site began offering machine-generated captions for about a dozen partner channels, reports AFP.
Hiroto Tokusei, a YouTube product manager, said in a blog post on Thursday that the automatic caption, or auto-caption, feature was now being expanded to all videos on the site in English.
Auto-captioning uses speech-to-text technology to generate subtitles.
“Making video easily accessible is something we’re working hard to address at YouTube,” said Tokusei, citing studies that predict that over 700 million people worldwide will suffer from hearing impairment by 2015.
While the auto-caption feature currently only works for videos where English is spoken, Tokusei said [...]

Increase WiMax USB Signal Strength Using a Can
While browsing, I came across a very interesting article written by Sohaib Athar about increasing the WiFi signal strength using a Can (the antenna made using Can is often known as Cantenna). I myself want to try it out but am out of town right now and don’t have my Wateen WiMax USB Dongle but I can’t wait to share this with most of the unfortunate Wateen customers. Before returning the device, try this method. There are solid chances that you will see an increase in signal strength. The writer claims to get 80% signals after applying this method.
What you’ll need?
An Empty 330ml Can;
A Scissor;
A WiMax USB Dongle.
Start Making Cantenna
Take an empty 330ml Can.
Chop it’s both end and cut it from the center vertically using scissor so, you will be left with a concave sheet.
Make a slot/hole in the center of the sheet to adjust the USB Dongle.
Fit you [...]
