Beware! Fake Antivirus May Offer Live Customer Support
Live PC Care an imitated antivirus program is now offering Live Support to boost their sales. Researchers at Symantec say, once this fake anti-virus product is installed on the computer, users get a false message of their machine being infected by various malwares (This is how fake software like this work). Latest addition to this anti-virus program is “Live Support”.
Live Support button redirects you to a real human agent who tries to convince you to purchase the full version of the software, which is nothing but a try to rack in some money from simplicity of users.
Another similar company known as “Innovative marketing” was using the same technique for the product “WinFixer”. A support center was operated to provide support but the main purpose was to convince users to upgrade to full version.
These fake anti-virus programs have been discomforting in the past. An annoying pop-up installs the software convincing [...]

PC Maintenance Tips – You Don’t Need to be Professional
Maintaining your computer can save you from lots of troubles. There are several ways you could perform PC maintenance, which involves Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Yearly tasks.
I would briefly discuss those here:
Backup your data daily: No one likes to lose their work. Backing up your data on daily basis is very important. Your documents, pictures, application data etc should be backed up by the end of each day.
Scan your computer weekly: Don’t think you are safe if you have antivirus software installed on your machine. Your regular antivirus may not detect some malwares or spywares. There always should be an alternative to your regular security software, which should be used for weekly scans.
If you are looking for something reliable & free to alternate your regular security program you might consider “Malwarebytes anti-malware” & “Superantispyware”.
Defragment your Hard Drive monthly: As a result of fragmentation your hard drive becomes slow which [...]
Intel to Launch Six-Core Desktop Processors
Six-core processors would be released for high-end desktops and servers by the mid of this year. Built on Intel’s most up-to-date “Westemere” architecture, the new six-core chips will perform faster and save power as compared to quad-core processors. These chips consist of 1.17 billion transistors along with a 12MB cache.
32-nm process which is used in Intel’s latest Core processors is used to make six-core chips. Intel’s Core processors which were introduced in January share the same architecture with the six-core chips but there is a slight change. A separate graphics card would be required as these new chips won’t come with a built-in graphic module. No further details have been provided by Intel.
Intel would be coming up with six-core desktop processors under the code name “Gulftown”. This new processor will fit in the same slot as quad-core. This processor will be able to perform 12 threads simultaneously for a [...]

If someone would still on a RC release, they will get a Black Boot screen that would ask for Activation (You won’t be able to activate. Why? Read below)
Bad news is that Microsoft won’t allow any upgrades to RC release, and users will have to perform [...]
