Sony Plans to Launch 3D TVs in Japan in June 2010
TOKYO: Sony said Tuesday it would start selling 3D televisions in Japan in June, aiming to ride a new wave of interest in the technology thanks to recent movies such as sci-fi blockbuster “Avatar”, reported AFP.
The Japanese giant said its first 3D liquid crystal display TV models would hit the Japanese market on June 10, with a price tag of about 350,000 yen (3,535 dollars) for a 46-inch version.

Increase WiMax USB Signal Strength Using a Can
While browsing, I came across a very interesting article written by Sohaib Athar about increasing the WiFi signal strength using a Can (the antenna made using Can is often known as Cantenna). I myself want to try it out but am out of town right now and don’t have my Wateen WiMax USB Dongle but I can’t wait to share this with most of the unfortunate Wateen customers. Before returning the device, try this method. There are solid chances that you will see an increase in signal strength. The writer claims to get 80% signals after applying this method.
What you’ll need?
An Empty 330ml Can;
A Scissor;
A WiMax USB Dongle.
Start Making Cantenna
Take an empty 330ml Can.
Chop it’s both end and cut it from the center vertically using scissor so, you will be left with a concave sheet.
Make a slot/hole in the center of the sheet to adjust the USB Dongle.
Fit you [...]
Transforming from Conventional Telephone to Cell Phone
Communication equipment transmits or receives information over a distance by electrical or electromagnetic medium; they support wireless and wire-lined communications between wireless or wire-lined communication devices. After the land line conventional telephone, cellular or mobile communication networks are rapidly becoming a primary infrastructure for enabling communication in today’s society.
History of Telephone
Alexander Graham Bell is known as the father of telephone. Early telephones were leased in pairs to subscribers and the subscriber was required to put up his own line to connect with another. They were technically diverse, some were dynamic and some used liquid transmitters which soon went out of use. Early telephones were locally powered. In 1876, the invention of telephone evolved along with the technology of the time. The image of an old crank wall phone generally comes to mind when thinking about an antique telephone.
There was not only an evolution in the instruments but many different [...]

Benefits of Using Original Software
Original Software brings with it a number of advantages. There is a difference between pirated software and original software. The original software comes with guarantee that it is not infected with any viruses and it will work properly. It also ensures that the user’s family doesn’t fall prey to any malicious tools. There is access to latest updates and downloads. Software updates make sure that the system is up-to-date with the latest technology and enhances the performance and protects it from harmful viruses or spyware.
There’s a perception that original software is expensive that is why people have no choice but to use pirated software. Original software is a little expensive but it is more reliable then a pirated software. If one puts side by side the price against the loss that could incur due to pirated software, original software turns out to be much cheaper than fake one.

Beware! Fake Antivirus May Offer Live Customer Support
Live PC Care an imitated antivirus program is now offering Live Support to boost their sales. Researchers at Symantec say, once this fake anti-virus product is installed on the computer, users get a false message of their machine being infected by various malwares (This is how fake software like this work). Latest addition to this anti-virus program is “Live Support”.
Live Support button redirects you to a real human agent who tries to convince you to purchase the full version of the software, which is nothing but a try to rack in some money from simplicity of users.
Another similar company known as “Innovative marketing” was using the same technique for the product “WinFixer”. A support center was operated to provide support but the main purpose was to convince users to upgrade to full version.
These fake anti-virus programs have been discomforting in the past. An annoying pop-up installs the software convincing [...]

PC Maintenance Tips – You Don’t Need to be Professional
Maintaining your computer can save you from lots of troubles. There are several ways you could perform PC maintenance, which involves Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Yearly tasks.
I would briefly discuss those here:
Backup your data daily: No one likes to lose their work. Backing up your data on daily basis is very important. Your documents, pictures, application data etc should be backed up by the end of each day.
Scan your computer weekly: Don’t think you are safe if you have antivirus software installed on your machine. Your regular antivirus may not detect some malwares or spywares. There always should be an alternative to your regular security software, which should be used for weekly scans.
If you are looking for something reliable & free to alternate your regular security program you might consider “Malwarebytes anti-malware” & “Superantispyware”.
Defragment your Hard Drive monthly: As a result of fragmentation your hard drive becomes slow which [...]
Intel to Launch Six-Core Desktop Processors
Six-core processors would be released for high-end desktops and servers by the mid of this year. Built on Intel’s most up-to-date “Westemere” architecture, the new six-core chips will perform faster and save power as compared to quad-core processors. These chips consist of 1.17 billion transistors along with a 12MB cache.
32-nm process which is used in Intel’s latest Core processors is used to make six-core chips. Intel’s Core processors which were introduced in January share the same architecture with the six-core chips but there is a slight change. A separate graphics card would be required as these new chips won’t come with a built-in graphic module. No further details have been provided by Intel.
Intel would be coming up with six-core desktop processors under the code name “Gulftown”. This new processor will fit in the same slot as quad-core. This processor will be able to perform 12 threads simultaneously for a [...]
