Zong Puts a Stop to SMS Delivery Report Again
All mobile operators introduced SMS bundle offers lately which resulted into SMS hike and ultimately load on server. Ufone and Telenor discontinued SMS Delivery Report facility a while ago. Now Zong is following their steps and put a stop to Delivery Reports . A friend of mine who is Zong subscriber informed that Zong is no more sending message delivery reports.
Zong should focus on the improvement and quality of the network instead of launching new and new offers every day. Better the quality, more will be the number of happy customers.

Telenor Zong (CM-Pak) Merger?
There have been news about Telenor, a Norwegian Company and China Mobile Brand, Zong merger but there are no final words from the authorities of both companies about this yet. Telenor Pakistan has a user base of around 20 million whereas China Mobile Zong stands at 6 million subscribers. Telenor has been in talks of merger with other companies as well because of the security issues in Pakistan. Telenor is looking to explore Indian Market where the potential is very high.
