Remember Ali Zafar dancing and singing in ads of Telenor. Old days, now he is appearing in the Mobilink, Jazz ads with his new funky look and style. That was a transition for Ali from Telenor to Jazz. This was a smart move by the Jazz as Ali Zafar has been followed by the youth blindly. The whole theme of the ad is evident from Ali Zafar continuously singing in the background, “Jazz On Hai”. Let’s see how long Ali will be appearing in the Jazz ads and how this change affects Telenor. Of course they are going to lose a portion of their market share but people forget these things. There is nothing wrong with his changing the company, but the Jazz campaign is quite below the belt. I think it has damaged Ali Zafar’s image. He has has lost my respect at least.

I didn’t get the obsession following Ali’s brand change.I thought it was a a smart move on Ali’s part- Telenor’s ads are better, but seriously, isn’t 3 years loooong enough for a telecom service? Pakistan me to aam log hi itne aram se line badal lete hain. Ali’s contract ended. He’s a guy who believes in re-invention and new things, instead of keeping with the old stuff. Plus Telenor had a big management shift…
Did anyone see how much backing and support Ali has received in his concerts and album lauch, from Mobilink? I think Telenor might not be offering such terms, or atleast, to such extent.
People only think what they want to, damn the facts.
