Google Chrome Stable v3.0.195.21 Launched

I have been playing around with Google Chrome stable version and happy to see that Google Chrome still holds its previous place among other browsers. Though, there are some changes in the newer version but nothing significant. Google launched its browser Chrome an year ago and it gained popularity in very short span of time but there were some issues with the browser like crashing on opening JavaScript and Flash pages or in short, you can say that Chrome was not able to handle load. Let’s have a look at stable v3.0.195.21 features and impressions.

Whats New in Chrome v3.0.195.21?

Google Chrome developers claim that they have boosted the JavaScript performance by 150%. If you are Google Chrome experienced user, you will see that JavaScript loads immediately but if you are new with Chrome, you will hardly notice it. Chrome is better known as a fast browser but in previous version when HTML5 were opened with Flash content, it slowed down which is overcome in the new stable version

User Interface (UI)

Many noticeable User Interface (UI) changes have been made. There are a total of 28 themes for Chrome (default is white). Another minor but helpful change is made with OmniBox. Now when you start typing some words, it suggests related terms/links etc. like Google Search Engine. Chrome home screen is also changed and now instead of bookmarks on right column you can see them in two rows each with 4 bookmark thumbnails. Recently closed links are also displayed under Bookmark Thumbnails.

I Liked It!

Google Chrome stable version didn’t crash even a single time even I tried to overload it with a lot of JavaScript pages and pages with Flash. It also loads way faster than other browsers from the click on desktop.

All in all Google Chrome v3.0.195.21 is better than many other browsers. Though, I couldn’t find a better theme, so, I have to stick with default white theme which is not a big deal. Bookmark toolbar is removed and I miss that but still the bar on top can do that job.
