According to statistical graphs by PTA, it has been observed that the EVO devices are doing well in terms of penetration into the market segment, and this is the region where the broadband operators have good potential to get to the internet users. Though the services provided by the wireless EVO service providers (WorldCall and PTCL) have not maintained the standards as there has been a high signal variation and customers also do not get the advertised download speeds, but despite this, the broadband on the Go is capturing the market with élan.

Broadband Market Share

The WiMAX technology has already captured the good share of the market with the increase in the WiMAX subscribers, which has grown from 33,000 to 156,000 in a single year and amounting to the highest growth rate while being compared to the other broadband channels in Pakistan.
