Facebook chat has been integrated into AOL’s instant Messenger through Facebook Connect. This integration allows AIM to Facebook Chat.
A beta phase has been launched and no comments on how long it would remain in beta.
To download latest AIM with Facebook Connect option click:

Once installed and signed on, click on “fConnect” and a new window will pop up asking for Facebook credentials. Login a import your contacts from Facebook.
You would be asked to “Allow AIM to access News feed and wall”.
You could also allow AIM to publish posts or comments without prompting.
You would be congratulated with a message “Your Facebook updates are on AIM now”
