Google requested feedback & Suggestions with the launch of buzz to improve it from what it is now. According to Google they received bunch of feature requests and feedback.
One of the main issues with buzz was privacy control and a recent survey with Twitter users showed that 15 percent of twitter users had privacy concerns.
In a recent blog post Gmail and Google buzz Product manager Todd Jackson addressed these privacy concerns and came up with some improvements.
These new improvements include:
1) It was hard to find “filter connection” option but now you have been given control over your profile since that option has been made more visible. You can now choose what you want to show on your public profile that includes your followers or people you are following.
2) A “Block” link will be added to the list of your followers, which would allow you to block anyone even if they don’t have public profiles.
3) People with Public Profiles and those with private profiles could be identified separately.
Privacy concerns were taken seriously and within two days they came up with such great improvements. Even though buzz is newbie in the industry but they’ve taken some serious steps to take it to the peak. Way to go buzz…
I’m impressed! You’ve managed the almost imopsslibe.
