BBC Survey: What Pakistani Internet Users Think

BBC recently held a survey across the world to measure the behavior and thoughts of internet users. This survey was conducted on 27,000 internet users worldwide.

BBC has recently issued the detailed report of the survey. We would be highlighting what Pakistani internet users think according to the survey done.

  • Pakistan is the less internet dependent country than any other country in the world. 79% people agreed that internet is not necessary for them and they could live without it (79% of Filipino users think that too).
  • Internet has increased freedom, 55% Pakistani users think.
  • Internet is considered a fundamental right by 46% Pakistani users.
  • Movies & music is the main reason for 22% users and this is what they use it for.
  • 60% Pakistani internet users consider internet a good place to find romantic partner.
  • Internet is considered a safe place for the expression of opinion by 58% of Pakistani users.

  1. O Man… Just give Pakistanis time and their will surely be other uses of Internet. It relatively new technology in Pakistan and people are not aware of it’s benefits but with the passage of time, they will.

    Who gives a damn about BBC survey. They always come up with negative things and propaganda against Pakistan.
