NVIDIA: New GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 GPUs

NVIDIA has announced two new graphics processor, one is GeForce GTX 480 and the other is GeForce GTX 470. These new graphics processor are the first ever product of the company’s Fermi series. The both Fermi GPUs are the NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround ready and they feature 3-way SLI Technology. They also feature CUDA™ Technology, PhysX technology, Interactive Ray Tracing, PureVideo HD technology and 32 x Anti-aliasing technologies.

They also uses HDMI 1.4 with xvYCC, PCI Express 2.0 bus along with support for Dual Link DVI with up to 2560×1600 resolution, Deep color and 7.1 digital surround sound. the GeForce GTX 470 has 448MHz graphics clock and 1674 memory clock while the GeForce GTX 480 supports a 700MHz graphics clock speed and 1848 memory clock speed.

It is expected that the GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470 will hit the market in the middle of April 2010.
