Avail Kobo with Discounts

On Monday, Borders announced that the company is discounting the e-reader Kobo and Micro Cruz tab from Velocity, making a try to gain holiday business. Borders is discounting the e-reader Kobo by $30 where by the price comes down to $99.99 from $129.99.  Kobo eReaders displays all the e-book collections either in shelf-view or like raw text. The Micro Cruz tab from the Velocity can also be pre-ordered at a price of $299.99 and a gift card of $25 can be received or if you buy the Micro Cruz Reader from Velocity with Wi-Fi connectivity priced at $169.99, you get a discount of $30 from the price listed.

Edward also said that the company continues to work assertively in this area of eReading making their device selection grow and charging the eReaders correspondingly with an aim of familiarizing so many users to the joyful experience of eReading.  The Kobo that is been offered by Borders is not the one which is Wi-Fi enabled. It is the model which is unconnected. If the extra priced Wi-Fi model, which costs about $139.99, is opted by the user and is pre-ordered, then five e-books will be tossed by Borders into the device. These books include Stefan Szymanski’s “Soccernomics”, Regina Jeffers’ “Phantom of Pemberley”, and “Wing nuts” by John Avlon, a book by Rick Smith and Bruce Laurie, and a mystery by Eliot Patti son.  Borders also announced that if these offers are not sufficient, it will give Sony Reader’s cover including built-in lights for free on selected models of 2010 while purchasing Sony Pocket and Sony Touch.  20 percent off on rates of all accessories of eReaders is also offered by the company to users.

Many experts feel that these discount offers by the company is to make itself as the leader in the space of e book reading and may be this attempt by Borders may even help the users in experiencing the pleasure of e-book reading and also makes many new users added to this eReading space.
