Gateway One ZX6951-53 23? Multi-Touch All-in-One Desktop PC

This All-in-one Desktop PC from Gateway One includes a blu-ray drive, friendly design, crisp audio output and has overall good performance and decent feature set matching its price tag. The rear-side ports are covered by clunky panel which looks somewhat bad. Also the HDMI video implementation is strange and not very user-friendly. Though it has some specific crotchets, it’s inviting design and other features make it very good for normal usage and home entertainment.

The bizarre design around rear side ports makes it look awkward but it is definitely a worthy self-contained digital media oriented desktop which is best choice home entertainment. The PC comes for a price of $999 and includes most of features that a Desktop with this price tag is supposed to possess. The Desktop could be connected to game console, cable box or any other home entertainment device in order to enjoy a great multimedia experience.

When related with other older models from Gateway, this has polished and attractive design. The speakers are very good and you can enjoy very clear and crisp sound from them. The external ports are hidden behind a plastic door which is removable which is a very poor design approach. The video implementation is also not good and the HDMI port is positioned at the systems back awkwardly. The HDMI display connection is exposed in such a way that it may irritate enthusiasts of digital media.

Usually when we review all-in-ones PCs, an HDMI input is welcome, since it lets you connect game consoles, cable boxes, or other living room components directly to the computer, effectively turning your all-in-one into a home media hub. In the case of this Gateway system, the HDMI port already has a cable going into it.

The exposed HDMI PC-display connection on this Gateway may frustrate digital media enthusiasts. The machine runs on Intel i5 processor with 3.2Ghz speed and has 4G DDR3 SDRAM. It includes Intel GMA 3500 integrated graphics and 640GB hard disk. It also includes a blu-ray drive which is very good for home entertainment. It operates with 64-bit version of Windows 7 home premium operating system. It has 1080p 23-inch display which is common among all home entertainment PCs. It has an external slot for SD cards, TV Tuner input, VGA video output, 5.1 analog audio jacks, wireless keyboard and mouse and PS/2 ports. The power efficiency is not very good with this machine.  You can get help from online resources and also 24/7 toll-free telephone support from Gateway when you purchase this PC.
