Cydle M7 Android Tablet Comes out with Full Features and Pricing

The Android OS seems to be gaining much better prominence as more hardware giants are bringing in devices to the market with the Android platform. The fact that it is an open source platform makes it a darling to manufacturers as they have noticed that consumers desire to have greater control over the devices they spend good money on. Cydle, a company better known for making in-car multimedia systems has joined the fray of tablet device manufacturers and embraced the Android OS in this quest.

The Multi Pad M7 from Cydle is about the newest tablet running on Google’s proprietary operating system to be launched into the market in November 2010, barring any further delays. The features which will be used for competition by this tablet seem to stretch on to TV capabilities and even a stand which allows the device function in a stand alone posture. More interesting is the fact that this stand acts as a screen cover when the tablet is not in use, thus shielding the screen from damage. May we note that this is the most protected tabled device if left in its real form. Though, this stand is completely detachable if desired.

In terms of screen size, the M7 has a decent 7-inch screen which utilizes the power of the Android OS and TV tuner to bring a rich array of visuals and media to your screen. Other multi media features include the video play back for multiple formats, dual speakers that exude a surround sound effect and the HDMI ports which make it possible to play back media from multiple sources. It also supports the reading of e-books making it a competitor for the Amazon kindle and Sony reader among others.

Internet call capabilities are not left out with the superb speakers giving clear calls on Skype and other VoIP applications. According to Woody Lee, the National Sales Manager for the Multi Pad M7.

In terms of pricing, the M7 is really affordable at just $200, though; a lot of aggressive marketing strategies have to be adopted if it wants to be successful in the market place, where predators like the Apple iPad are already winning consumers in millions. The moment it is released, it will begin shipping in the regions including the US, Korea and Europe all at the same time.
