It can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without giving a halt. Sony VAIO and Acer Aspire are the competitors of this device in the market now.

The laptop structure is made with plastic predominantly, which is painted. It looks like brushed-aluminum and makes the laptop stunningly pretty, but for pliable for smudging. The plastic is decorated and made it look aesthetic with a design of hinge-forward. The derriere of the laptop is thickened to hide the battery with 6 cells. It measures about 5.6 pounds and is not so light weighted when compared to other 15 inches laptops like Acer AS5745-7247 which weighs around 5.2 lbs and Sony EB33FM/BJ weighing 5.3 lbs.

Resolution of the screen is 1366 x 768 pixels, whose brightness is almost similar to other laptops like Acer AS5745 and Sony EB33FM/BJ. Toshiba’s laptop Satellite L675D-S7046 features a wider screen of 17.3 inches and a higher resolution of 160 x 900. The keyboard of iM501R-1655MRB has a broad touch pad and also gives marvelous clicking experience of soft mouse switches.

This laptop runs Microsoft Windows7 Operating system and a Mobile AMD Triple-Core Processor PhenomII N850 with 2.2 GHz speed. It has 4GB Ram. Laptop weighs 5.6 lb and size of the screen is about 15.6 inches wide. It has Radeon 4250 of ATI Mobility Graphics Card and a storage capacity of 500 GB.

This laptop features dual USB ports and a VGA port at the hind portion of the device, thus no wires will be falling from sides of the gadget. An eSATA combo port can be seen on right side, by which the storage capacity of the hard drive can be expanded and the blazing speeds of SATA can be used. This may not be required because the inbuilt hardware has 500 GB storage capacity which is more than enough to store photos and videos. It has a two layered DVD burner. It doesn’t have features Wireless Display of Intel by which you can connect the laptop to HDTV wirelessly and also Wi-Di technology, but still you can connect this laptop to HDTV by the HDMI port provided in the laptop. It doesn’t include HDMI cable, which has to be bought separately.

The processor of the laptop sounds impressive, as it is a triple-cored one. Though the laptop can do web surfing, edit videos and photos, it can’t do it so good compared to other laptops running processors of Intel Core. It has a 47 WH battery, whose battery life is about 3 hrs 26 mins and is one hour lesser than Sony EB33FM/BJ and Acer AS5745. It has integrated graphics which uses an AMD’s integrated chip.

To conclude, with such less battery back up and slow system doesn’t make it a very good option. The cost of the device is also more compared to its features. So it is left to the viewer’s choice in selecting the best laptop for their need.
