Kindle App Will Be Announced by Amazon for Playbook Tablet

As an effect of the announcement regarding Blackberry Playbook by Research in Motion (RIM) on Monday, Amazon declared in the last week of September that a new ‘Kindle’ app will be produced by it for its new tablet.

Similar to other Kindle applications the users of Playbook can synchronize the content that is bought on the tablet of RIM with other gadgets, from Kindle App is Apple’s iPhone. This application of Kindle is available already on Google’s Android, RIM’s Blackberry, Apple’s iPhone, iPod and devices of Kindle.

In a report by Dorothy Nicholls, the director of Amazon Kindle stated that like the other Kindle applications, this application of Blackberry Play Book will cost nothing and the technology of Whisper Sync will be incorporated such that switching between the devices will be unseamed.

The Kindle app of Android was updated by Amazon last week, where in-text screen and voice are added to it, where the connection to Shelfari, a social network which is book-focused is facilitated, which allows the users to add annotation and highlights to books.

This 7 inch tablet features 1024×600 pixels resolution o a capacitative multi-touch screen. This Play Book from Blackberry also features a dual core microprocessor of Cortex A9 1GHz where a back up of 1GB RAM is provided. By buying the app for 9.99 US $, Best Sellers, new releases of Newyork Times can be browsed. Free samples of books can also be obtained by the app.

Kindle app for Blackberry is really easy to function. About 444,000 books will be available in the Kindle shop feature in the app. Once the book is downloaded, it can be accessed from the menu. The book can be studied on the screen. The font size of the text can be changed in six sizes, book marks can be added and a particular chapter or page can be selected and directly navigate to it.

There are several keyboard shortcuts available along with Kindle application. Many executives stated that this new Blackberry Playbook will be suitable and is apt for consumers as well as businesses. This Playbook will be launched, probably on early 2011, as per RIM (Research in Motion).

This Kindle app allows the user of Blackberry to read any book of their choice, while travel or when there PC is not available. This application loads everything super fast and it ahs got very good features. Kindle books can be read and stored in the mobile and also one can browse books from a large collection of and can purchase them from the store.

Other Blackberry devices like Tour 9630, Storm 9550, Storm 9530, Curve 8900, Curve 8520, Bold 9700, Bold 9000 are compatible with this software. Kindle app is available at Amazon and it can be downloaded from it. Amazon is trying to add new enhancements in the Kindle app for Blackberry, whenever possible. It also includes the accessibility to scroll the book lone by line instead of scrolling page after page. Highlights and notes are also added in the application. Foe now, this app is available in US and hopefully soon in other parts of the world.
