Morgan Launches Budget Android Tablet

Morgan, the computer reseller, is about to introduce the Android tablet very soon, which is the cheapest, in to the UK market- but stipulations reflect the price. A new product was unboxed by the Morgan computers named as Morgan’s tablet computer. The 7 inch tablet of Google Android, as for now, whose manufacturer is not known, features Android 1.7.4. It means that this feature misses many of the advantages and enhancements that arrived to the platform with 2.0 versions and would not have speed improvements or the flash support that came up with the Android 2.2 Operating System.

The hardware of this Android tablet is not really very great either; a paltry RAM of 128 MB and somewhat scraggy processor from Via which is 400 MHz sitting at its heart, means that multi tasking is mostly improbable to work terribly well. The storage of 3 GB which is included is also somewhat mingy- though upgrading of this can be done. One should be thankful for the inclusion of the slot for SD card.

The resistive touch screen of 7 inches, which runs at a resolution of 800×480 pixels, is a substantial drop from the resolution of 1024×600 pixels, which so many other tablets running Android are launching at. Either there is no feature of multi- touch screen functionality in Morgan’s tablet computer. A Wi-Fi connectivity of 802.11 b/g which is integrated to it offers an internet connection and the Android maker has decided to integrate an inbuilt camera, though it is a VGA model of 0.3 mega pixel. A battery of 1800 mAh offers a use of around 3 hours, though it may likely drop off, if browsing graphics, heavy sites and playing videos or games is done. There is an on board storage of 2 GB in the tablet. The size of the tablet from Morgan computers is about 195x120x16 mm. it has also got a micro SD expansion slot. There is also a built in stereo speaker that is provided for Morgan computers Android tablet. This Morgan 7 inch will be mostly available from 18th of this October.

In comparison with this Morgan’s computer Android, the Disgo tablet 6000 looks beautifully swanky, which runs Android 2.1 Operating System, an iMAPx2001 GHz processor, HDMI connection along with RAM of 256 MB? It is accompanied with a 2 GB micro SD card, at 180 Euros.

What so ever it features, the price of Morgan’s tablet is the most favoring feature of it. In today’s world, where everyone wants to have a tablet computer, but could not afford for those high cost ones, this Morgan’s tablet can be recommended, though it does not provide many good services as those other leading tablet computers do.
