Now Play Android Games and Watch iPhone Movies on TV

An innovative device was shown by PCD at the wireless trade exhibition of CTIA in San Francisco, which can show films form an iPod or iPhone or provide an ability to play game on big- screen TV, from a device of Android.

Cyvee designed this innovative device and price or name is not yet declared officially. This device may hopefully hit the market, early on next year. This device seems to be very cool and attractive. There are about two versions available in the device. The first version is an electronic device which stopples in to the iPod or iPhones’ dock connector. The next version is a small tent like object which with the help of a cable, plugs into the TV. This new device swarms movies and videos, along with Netflix, over a wireless RF connection of 5.8 GHz in a quality of 480 p.

During the demo of this device, a part of a sequence of ‘no ordinary family’ on TV was watched, by streaming it via the device, the picture quality and image was not so great. This was streamed via Netflix over 3G and is transmitted wirelessly to an analog input of 480 p. still the video was watchable unquestionably, and it was chipping off the iPod nano. This service has changed the viewing experience of iDevice in a great way.

A 1080 p version with high definition (HD) service will be sold by PCD in the coming future, almost in the later part of 2011. This version can be plugged into the HDMI port of TV and will be made such that it might work with tablets running Android and Android phones. There will be much more tractability on Android gadgets.

A mock-up Android tablet along with a transmitter integrated to it is handed over by PCD, which plays on the big screen of TV, the “Need for Speed Shift”. The tablet is used as the Wii-like controller itself, with the accelerometer of the tablet, altering the directions of the car quickly on TV. The velocity of the RF link proprietary is the secret element that has less reaction period than Wi-Fi connection and prepares the system perfect for playing games.

Many companies are trying to explore the ways to acquire the stored content in the mobile phones to the large-screen of TVs. With the help of Air Play system from Apple, one can play games and videos in the iPhones on to the TVs in the near future but they should also own a TV box of Apple for achieving this service. Many of the manufacturers of Android based devices threw lot of focus on a Wi-Fi based manufacture standard i.e. DLNA, but it was highly difficult to install it on TV side. The grandness of PCD’s resolution is that this solution utilizes a cable to secure into a composite input or the HDMI of the TV and this can be done or known to everyone. This unnamed device is being proposed to be sold by PCD via stores of wireless carrier services and big-box retail. The price of the device is not announced yet and surprisingly nor its name.
