Samsung Galaxy Tab (T-Mobile)

Samsung’s galaxy Tab from T-Mobiles is also another competitor to the iPad of apple similar to the version of Sprint. You may also see it as a new variety as it is very light and really small when compared to the Apple’s iPad. The design of the Galaxy tab is truly beautiful and well built but still it needs better upgrades of applications to make it even tougher competitor to Apple iPad. This unit from T-Mobile appears very similar to that of Sprint’s, except for its black case while the other one has white. The size of the device, the processor it runs, the resolutions of the camera and many of the applications are similar in both the devices. On the whole the general performance of both the devices is also similar.

Compared to the versions of Sprint’s, the devices from T-Mobile has better features where you get the devices for 399 USD with a contract for 2 years or the device without contract costs you around 599 USD. The device also features an internal storage of 16 GB along with a slot for the memory card whereas the device of Sprint has only 2 GB storage and a slot too. The speed on Galaxy Tab is about 2Mbps when a modem of HSPA 7.2 is used, which is a pleasant speed too. Wi-Fi connectivity of 802.11 b/g/n is featured by this device while it can also connect to network protected by WPA2.

Specifications of the mobile:

The tab features a 7 inched wide screen with dimensions 7.48 by 4.74 by 0.7 inches. It weighs about 13.4 ounces and has a storage capacity of 16 GB. It gives a video playback period of about 7.5 hours which is really awesome with automated screen brightness. It really seems good for using it for one full day. The battery backup of this device is shorter than that of Apple iPad, but the size of the tablet and battery of iPad is comparatively bigger and hence it compensates there.

The device also runs Android 2.2 Operating System.  The company announced that many apps are yet to come.  Few other apps are also preinstalled by t-Mobile in the device. Cost of the devices from both Sprint and T-Mobile are almost same.

The applications that are based on Android are more than 10000 in number, and these are suitable on any device either a phone or a tablet running Android.
