New AT&T LTE Smartphone can Dock to Become a Laptop

AT&T made use of the CES show in Las Vegas in introducing its new smartphone from Motorola, the Atrix 4, which can expand into a “dockable laptop”.

The Atrix4 are said to be the most powerful device yet, with a dual core 1 GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage and expandability up to 48GB with a microSD card.

The device runs on Android 2.2 and features Motorola’s MOTOBLUR user interface.

The device can be docked, so that a user can attach a screen and full-sized keyboard in order to use the device as a laptop.

AT&T will be rolling out its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network this year, even though the device is built for the current HSPA+ technology.

AT&T earlier announced that it will be releasing 20 new devices, which will be compatible with this technology during the course of this year.
