Alienware M14x Packs Quad-Core Sandy Bridge, GT 555M

Thanks to Chinese tech site that provides us with some precious details about the forthcoming 14-inch Dell’s Alienware gaming notebook. According to the Zol, we can expect to have at least one iteration of the M14x that will be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor along with Nvidia GeForce GT 555M graphics. This notebook features two displays, i.e. 1366×768 or 1920×1080 pixel.

Reports say that Dell is aiming to feature Klipsch audio system, 8GB of RAM, a 750GB-7200RPM fast spinning hard drive and eight cell battery as well. We can expect to have high class specifications in the forthcoming Alienware M14x as compared to M11x and M15x. Inclusion of SSD will not be ruled out along with certain other CPU and GPU specs.

The new M14x will definitely nothing less than its previous versions in terms of aesthetics and looks. We also heard that the M14x will feature a blue backlit keyboard, an Alienware skin for Windows 7 and an engraved, stainless steel nameplate. Connectivity options may include VGA, Mini Display Port outputs, HDMI, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an embedded WiMAX or LTE 1, a multi-card reader, Ethernet, and three USB 2.0 ports.
