Apple Unleashed Mac OS X Lion Preview 2 Update [Available for Download]

Apple launched an update for Mac OS X Lion Preview 2 earlier today. Different reports that we have received till now claim that this update brought with it only minor changes and no major changes has been reported yet. This Mac OS X Lion Preview 2 update is already available for download for those who are already a registered member of the Mac Developer Program.

From systems that have developer preview 2 of Lion or Lion Server installed, run Software Update and download Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 2 Update. You must also download Xcode 4.1 Developer Preview 3 available from the Mac Dev Center to build apps with this version of Lion.

If you have not yet downloaded developer preview 2 of Lion and Lion Server, get your redemption code from the Mac Dev Center then proceed to the Mac App Store to redeem your code and download Lion.

The reports we have received up till now suggests that the Mac OS X Lion Preview 2 update has got some minor GUI tweak in iCal. Apart from Mac OS X Lion Preview 2 update, Apple also announced the Xcode new update that gives us a clue of Lion Preview 3. We can expect the release of Lion Preview 3 in coming weeks. What we are anxiously waiting about is the WWDC 2011 in the anticipation of Apple’s promise to give us a preview of iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion as well. Fingers are already crossed!
