Microsoft Kinect for Windows SDK Likely to be Announced Today

We have got some reports that Microsoft has decided to announce the Kinect for Windows SDK beta. It was in February when we came across the rumors that Microsoft will be aiming to announce Kinect for Windows SDK somewhere in Spring 2011. It is more likely that Microsoft launch its Kinect for Windows SDK at MIX11 conference.

Don Mattrick, President of Microsoft interactive business division at an occasion already said that Microsoft has the plans to launch SDK in Spring. In the light of that statement, we are anticipating that the beta version may likely be announced at MIX11 conference today.

With the launch of Kinect for Windows SDK, developers will able to develop applications that will capable of using the Kinect hardware on Windows. The key features of Kinect for Windows SDK are not yet unveiled by the Microsoft; however, we have some reports that Joe Belfiore and Scott Guthrie have a plan to reveal some of its key feature on Wednesday and today is Wednesday.
