Motorola XOOM Struggles to Raise Sales

In reaction to Customer Report that tagged Motorola XOOM – the first honeycomb as the first genuine iPad competitor, I said that it is reasonably not a genuine iPad competitor. I was quite right in saying that as an analyst backs my point in his report.

An analyst at Pacific Crest named James Faucette verifies all what we have seen and suspected up till now. He says that Motorola XOOM failed to make a point in sales department and therefore, failed to return the revenue that Motorola would have expected from it.

It seems that Motorola is overcome by hard luck as the reports further suggests that even Motorola Atrix 4G is also facing trouble in coming down from the retail store shelves.

Both these device from Motorola feature some powerful specifications including a dual core Tegra 2 processor from Nvidia, 4G enabled and come with regular tones and whistles a typical tablet can have. Well! It will not wrong if we say that Atrix 4G is more of a Smartphone than a tablet.

However, if we talk about the physical aspect of both these devices, they are certainly imposing but lack in one area that is uniqueness. Faucette only advice for Motorola to raise sales is to bring some uniqueness in their gadgets so as to keep shareholders from looking at some other options.
