YouTube Finally Launches its Live Streaming Page

YouTube, one of the largest video sharing community owned the by the Internet giant. On Friday, this massive internet giant has launched a page that emphasize on the live programming. When asked from the company, they said the launch of the page is in compliance with the users’ demands for live streaming.

“With over 2 billion views a day, it’s easy to think about YouTube as a place to watch videos recorded in the past,” it said in a blog post. “But you’ve told us you want more – and that includes events taking place right now. In response, we’ve live streamed a number of popular concerts, sporting events, and interviews, but primarily on a one-off basis.”

According to the Google, in the initial phases, the YouTube Live will merge live streaming capabilities and discovery tools straight into the YouTube platform.

The site expects that several of YouTube partners will soon begin to stream live content on YouTube.

“The goal is to provide thousands of partners with the capability to live stream from their channels in the months ahead,” the site said. “In order to ensure a great live stream viewing experience, we’ll roll this offering out incrementally over time.”

Live Stream Page will offer the users to subscribe themselves to the YouTube live streaming partners so as to get notified of forthcoming live streams.

Along with the Friday’s live offerings, there is a 7pm presentation of The DigiTour: Live from Google HQ.
