We reported earlier that Apple will be releasing an iOS update iOS 4.3.3 to fix the location tracking bug and a pre-release build shows how quickly the company is acting to release the updated.
Guys at BGR got their hands on the pre-release and said on their site that the update would be released in next couple of weeks or maybe sooner.
iOS 4.3.3 will include:
- The upcoming update will no longer back up the location database file “consolidated.db” to iTunes.
- The size of the location database will be reduced and location database will be deleted entirely when Location Services are turned off.
- Improved battery life and iPod bug fixes.
It is a also expect that the next update will also shut the jailbreak hole recently released for iOS 4.3.1/4.3.2.
More on this topic later. Stay tuned!
