iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch to be Released Soon

We reported earlier that Apple will be releasing an iOS update iOS 4.3.3 to fix the location tracking bug and a pre-release build shows how quickly the company is acting to release the updated.

Guys at BGR got their hands on the pre-release and said on their site that the update would be released in next couple of weeks or maybe sooner.

iOS 4.3.3 will include:

  • The upcoming update will no longer back up the location database file “consolidated.db” to iTunes.
  • The size of the location database will be reduced and location database will be deleted entirely when Location Services are turned off.
  • Improved battery life and iPod bug fixes.

It is a also expect that the next update will also shut the jailbreak hole recently released for iOS 4.3.1/4.3.2.

More on this topic later. Stay tuned!
