Speed Up Your iPhone With ‘Speed Intensifier’

If you don’t want to wait for the next fast iPhone released by Apple, you should probably go for this app known as “Speed Intensifier” for jailbroken devices (Something similar to FakeClockUp).

What Speed Intensifier does is either completely removing or shortening iOS animations, which certainaly use a lot of system resources thus slowing down the device. Especially, if you are switching between multiple windows at the same time.

This application works as two different intalls, where one is for “Settings app” and the other one is “Winterboard” add-on. You can find both of these on insanelyi.com repository. Just open the Cydia’s “Manage tab>Sources” and add “http://repo.insanelyi.com“. After installing repo, searching will take you to the app and Speed Intensifier Add-on. Install them both.

Speed Intensifier can be adjusted from Settings allowing you to either change the speed or disable it. You should see 3 Options in Winterboard. 1)- SI Underclock 2)- SI Speedup 3)- SI Overclock.

Developer of the tweak claims that “dectuple level” speed can be achieved between the two tweaks without exhausting the battery. According to the desription, this tweak actually escapes the barriers set by Apple to save the battery. This has been verified while testing the tweak, it does make your iPhone speedy but consumes a lot of battery. We would be figuring out a way to get this working without draining the battery.

Both installs can be downloaded for free and are worth a try because it’s stable and much more faster than competition.
