Don’t be deceived by its looks ’cause unlike other Android phones in the market, it doesn’t actually seem like what it’s priced for. It’s actually comes with a cheap price but it has a classy touch screen interface.

One of the biggest downfalls of the HTC Wildfire is it’s small 3.2 incher screen compared to other smartphones in the market. It is just enough for users to type on. Another big disappointment about it is it’s low resolution of  240×320 unlike  other 3.2 incher Android phones in the market that offer higher screen resolution. Due to this fact, not all apps will run well in this phone. This phone is built with a 5 megapixel camera, but does not perform as good as what the HTC Desire has and to think they have just the same specs. It’s camera does not focus as good as other 5 megapixel auto-focus camera phones. Though it can still good quality pictures.

The phone is operated by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor that comes with a random access memory of 348MB and a ROM of 512MB and just enough for light multi-tasking purposes. It weighs only 118 grams that comes with dimensions of 106.80 x 60.40 x 12 mm. The phone has a 3.2 TFT display which comes with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution that sustains up to 16 million colors. This budget smartphone is built-in with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera that has a LED flash and can take good quality 2592 x 1944 pixel resolution images. Its connectivity features include HSDPA for fast data transfer and is Wi-Fi ready. The device is actually a Wi-Fi router itself using its Wi-Fi Hotspot feature when upgraded to Android 2.2 version.  This is actually a 3G phone and it is also built with Bluetooth version 2.1. With its 1300 mAh li-ion battery, it can go up to 8 hours of talk time even when in 3G mode.

This smartphone is also pre-loaded with apps such as social networking sites, games and more. You can go visit the Android Market to get more apps on the HTC Wildfire. Other features include a great organizer which is very useful for business purposes, a document a stereo FM radio and more. Its retail price is $350 in most stores.

Some consumers would complain with it’s slowness in running some applications, but at least it has a cheap price compared to other smartphones.
