Google+ is Losing The Battle Gradually

The new social networking space entrant – Google+ is perhaps losing the staged battle with Facebook. The network pooled in over 20 million users across the globe over past 4 weeks but the numbers are slowly dwindling. The user logins and time spent on the site are sinking too. The users are not game to the idea of boring social streams of Google+. The initial concern amongst the users was that the platform was available to the users on invitation only. So while few of a friend circle joined the network the others were clearly missing on the network.

Facebook and Twitter clearly offer better platforms to the users who wish socializing on the go. The mobile app of Google+ does no wonders too as it has a poor platform with too simple options. There is no clear cut marketing done around Google+ project and as a result it is all set to fail in the near future.

Unless and until Google+ improves the user interfaces and induces rich content streams the network will be doomed as Orkut has been. There is nothing new that it offers and is complex to comprehend for the first time users too. And most importantly why should a user share their Picasa web albums for signing u to Google+?
