Google+ Won’t Hamper Facebook’s Performance

Google+ started off with a wave and now its overall effect is diminishing by the moment. The end users who opted for the initial burst of Google+ are in fact starting to recede from it eventually. They are in fact moving positively in direction of Facebook at an accelerated pace. Google+ registered over 30 million user sign ups in 3 months time span and the downturn has started affecting the stakeholders in a serious manner. There is hardly any perceived value in Google+ and moreover the monotonous interface of the social media partner does not look intriguing at all.

Although Facebook took certain counter measures to torment Google+ by restricting the ads on its network the latter still lacks the meat to appeal people. Also the mantra of invite users for using the platform did not worked well with the stakeholders.

The times ahead for Google are certainly tough and it is also under reeling criticism from certain sections of users for having purchased Motorola in $12.1 billion. Only time will let us know if it was a great move by Google or not. As far as social networking space is concerned they are still big time losers and it will take years for them to recover from it.
