Internet Privacy Controls Challenge tech Industry

The internet tech industry has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few years. The exponential growth numbers are primarily attributed to the popularity of social frontiers – Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Google+ etc. The layman users, advertisers and publishers all have been able to draw value out of the overall business proposition. But at the end of the day the one too many instances of data or privacy invasion on these platforms have lead to the sour taste in the mouth of value based customers. The instances of social profile hacks and information leakage in public domain are rising by the day.

In fact Facebook’s privacy policy is still under fire from the tech analysts. The profile hacking attempts are made too often over Facebook and one has to meticulously set the privacy policies while setting up their Facebook accounts. The recent social media entrant – Google+ handles privacy in a better manner but in case you have made certain provocative pictures on Picasa web album as public then you might end up being in a spot of bother from the social circle.

The service providers are yet not able to strike the perfect balance between online social networking and setting up the Privacy to custom level.
