Apple Plans Shifting Focus To South American Territory

Apple is planning to shift its focus from developed and mature markets like US to South American territories. Manufacturers and marketers have not really concentrated in the territory mainly due to unrest in most of the local hot spots. However, with rising manufacturing costs and Chinese threat Apple is planning to strike deal with cost effective gadget equipment manufacturers in Brazil and Argentina. The trend is about to be changed with growing competition in the tech market space. Apple has been instrumental in entering newer markets and making those profitable. The classic example to support the statement has been the Chinese market. Apple entered opened its first App store in 2010 and today the overall market has become second to US in terms of revenue generation for Apple for iPad and iPhone segments.

It is imperative for a tech giant like Apple to start a manufacturing unit in South America by outsourcing the competence to low cost economies. These are closer to mainland US and well connected to the main international hubs too. The future of tech market space might witness a U-turn if such a proposition occurs in span of next five years. These moves by Apple will certainly affect the Chinese vendors going forward.
