Facebook Increases Default Photo Widths, Changes Up Lightbox

Facebook has again fiddled around with its photo feature look and feel to accommodate more widths. The default width size has been increased substantially as a new feature enablement for the desktop versions and soon the update is expected to follow in Android versions too. These options will provide better usability and they can clearly view the photo streams too. Over the years, the users have been bothered about the poor interface options and the confusing models imposed by Facebook. The feature was a much needed improvement and was anticipated from the users from quite some time now. It is being considered as a major improvement since the last releases.

The finer look and feel changes have also been incorporated in Facebook Light box too. The color schemes have been slightly altered by the development team to harmonize with the official color selection options.

Ironically, the network was seriously bothered about the threat from Google+ but the latter has eventually died off even before taking off. As a result, Facebook has remained as the single leader in the social media race. And if trend continues it will be next to none and perhaps even beat Google in terms of active users.
